Default Odometer alignment

I’m considering purchasing a 67 representing under 16,000 on the odometer. Could I get some opinions on the number alignment which does not give me that warm and fuzzy feeling. Thanks

Welcome to the forum! I guess it’s possible but there should be a whole lot of other evidence that would validate the mileage imo.

IMHO odometer readings on vintage cars mean nothing without provenance..... detailed documentation from day one that verifies the mileage. Any back yard mechanic can take the odometer you have pictured and change it to represent any number he/she chooses.
Without records, the reading is worthless. Take the car at face value unless the owner can prove the claims.

I think the numbers can line up that way, as they do on mine. But like previously said; more evidence is needed to support that much of a low mileage car.
