Any difference between Corvette America and Al Knoch 67 conv door panel construction, materials ,overall fit and finish?
Thanks...
I have used both and thought both were nice. I just put a set of Corvette America's dp in my 65 coupe last winter. They will take a lot of fitting and I had to file the top trim. Personally, I would stay away from the vinyl backed dp in favor of the pressed cardboard dp because they look more original.

Unless you are putting in a Black interior in your Corvette, stay away from Corvette America. Corvette America will send you 3 different shades of the same interior color, I know from personal experience.
Al Knoch interior car parts are top notch in the business in both quality and color match. Al Knoch will cost you a little more than Corvette America, but is worth it. Al Knoch will let you upgrade to all leather if
you want for the dash pads and door panels if desired
I will never give Corvette America my business again with anything to do with my Corvette's interior. Their quality and lack of quality control SUCKS!!!.

That is very true. My dp are black so I didn’t have that issue. But, a restoration shop I know always dyes all the panels before installing them because of this.
So the Al Knoch panels are pressed cardboard?
Anyone have any pics?
I would give Melanie at Al Knoch a call ( 1 800 880 8080 ) They may even offer both. One for durability and one for originality. I have found them very forthcoming on that kind of stuff over the years.
My problem is getting reflectors that are the same co,or of red. I don’t even care if it’s correct. I just want them to match. Also, I cleaned and dyed an original set for my 64 from blue to black and they look fantastic.
