I will be moving my alternator from the right side to the left to accomodate A/C compressor. When I swapped the breacket to the other side, I discovered the mounting holes in the left manifold dont line up with the bracket. Is there a different bracket for this side to mount the alternator?
You need the 63 A/C LH alternator bracket Long Island Corvettes: 23-04B, and the 63 A/C LH alternator brace, 23-13B. Along with the A/C upper radiator hose 21-01P with the curve to navigate around the A/C alternator brace.
You would also be smart to get the VAK-6365 Lectric Limited wiring harness designed for moving the alternator to the LH side without messing with the horn relay or voltage regulator...
I assume you have an upgraded alternator ? If not, the stock 628 alternator can be internally upgraded to 70-100 amps.
Most of the A/C 63 specific parts are for 250hp-300hp engines, if you have something else you should confirm all of this information...
