If you follow CCE's link the pics are interesting. I see a modern take on a classic design.
It's already been done with the T-Bird, Mustang, Challenger and Camaro.

Not for me. I get the idea but the closing up the rear window is pointless. It is typical of todays extremely pour rear view visibility designs that require a back up camera to see anything.

I believe you're right. Pretty difficult to modernize the C2 without the iconic bumpers. But I think the headlamp treatment portrayed is interesting.

The mid engine layout isn't going to work with that. Maybe it's battery powered.
