[C2] 64 RestoMod LS3 Error Codes - engine sputters
While researching the codes, one trick is to clean the MAF sensor - which I did, without any positive result. There were no vacuum leaks or wiring that was loose so bfore checking into the actual O2 sensors, I decided to replace the AC Delco MAF sensor, clear the codes, and try it again.
SUCCESS !!! That little sensor can cause some rough riding if not working properly. What a difference.
Hope all is well with you too! I cannot believe it will be almost 8 years since you built my Corvette - time just flies....
After I cleaned the original MAF sensor, I installed it and cleared out the error codes with fresh gas in the tank. I took her out for a 5 mile run and it ran better for a bit and then it got worse. I then replaced with the NEW MAF sensor, cleared the codes again and did the same 5 mile run with no issues whatsoever.
Hope that does the trick. I will monitor it for a bit to make sure.
Thanks for the tips - as always !!
Dan
