After looking at all of the vendors that sell replacement Dash Pads for 59-62
Are they all created equal, because of the price difference between shops and shipping cost in the US?
What makes one better than the other.......price, material or where there are manufactured?
You will find strong advocates for Al Knoch and Corvette America both...
Romeo Engineering's products have supposedly gotten better but I'm not sure the cheaper price is worth taking a chance on them....

Good price, I did the same, took advantage of their year end Christmas sale on complete door and kick panels. The dash pad was done by a professional and he started with a CA pad, but was damaged in shipment. He also had an Al Knoch pad of my color, frost blue, so we went with that. In certain lighting, you can see a slight color mismatch.

I wouldn’t recommend the Romeo product. I started out with theirs. It didn’t fit right right and required a lot of trimming. Plus, the texture and sheen were off. Finally tore it off and installed one from Corvette America. Much better product. It fit, and looks much better.

My experience pretty much. I got the RE pad to fit OK but it was a lot of work.
I had red Romeo Engineering dash and door rail covers, seat covers, door and kick panels and carpet installed on my 57; they look fantastic. The Romeo red 56-57 interior is closest to what Al Knock used 10 years ago; the current Al Knock 56-57 red is now Sunkist orange.
Cannot vouch for Romeo 58-62 dash pads; but my 61 is a black interior with all Al Knoch which also turned out great. Nice fit and finish, including the intricate aluminum door panels.
