DB (should be 'JJ' hoop code) is '67 model year, 15x5 (not 6) for metal passenger car with disc brakes.
According to NCRS JM as well as technical articles, there was a "DB" wheel used for 1967 model Corvettes for a brief time. It was pretty early in the production. If needed I can try and find the tech articles and post them or a link. I am sure I can find them with a bit of effort.
Found the article in the old Corvette Restorer. There may be more than one article , but the one I located indicated that problems on the KH wheel line forced some Corvette wheels to be diverted to the Camaro/Chevelle/passenger car wheel line which was the "DB" line. This line had extra capacity at that time and could handle the extra demand of the Corvette wheels. But this temporary arrangement only lasted a few weeks to a month.
I locked up my computer trying to extract and post this article for you from the NCRS Restorer database. I can/will try again later, but at a minimum I will give you the name and date of the article and the author.
The documentation I've seen shows confirmed cases of 15x6 Corvette wheels with the DB stamp have date code stamps of "8 66" and "9 66" on the inside of the rim (ie can only see with the tire removed).
The article I mentioned above is titled "Authenticating 1967 Rally Wheels" by NCRS Member Wendel Hans (NCRS #13085). Article published in NCRS Restorer Volume 36, Number 3. This is Winter 2010 edition. It is a very well researched article with many examples, interviews and pictures to support the information.

So the wheels FROM the Camaro/Chevelle were diverted TO the Corvettes, correct?

I believe article stated the DB line had excess capacity (idle time) and therefore could produce wheels required for the 1967 Corvette. Whether changes to tooling or procedures were required to accommodate the Corvette wheels I don't know without going back to the article or author. If it is important to you to know this exact;y, I can try and copy and paste the article to your private email account..........or send you a paper copy.
The info I have is on an NCRS Restorer CD I purchased for the 1967 model year, and it doesn't like for me to do much but read what it contains. Attempts to extract info or to attach links for someone seems to only lock up my computer. NCRS apparently doesn't want me to provide free copies to folks when they can charge $$$ by selling the disc to members. But maybe I can make screen shots of the pages I am seeing and then print them. But it is in the NCRS Restorer if you have a paper copy filed away. I do, and that is a last resort.
Interesting - I think the 67 Z28 used a 15x6 wheel but I didn't know there was a 15" Chevelle wheel option - maybe on station wagons or something. Maybe as Powershift suggested the "DB line" simply re-tooled to run the Corvette specific wheels temporarily rather than divert Camaro/Chevelle wheels to the Corvette line.
