C2 Birdcage Dimensions
Our 1966 roadster has some significant damage to the birdcage so we are planning to rebuild it. Concerned about getting everything positioned correctly (already it is showing some misalignment on the right side). Does anyone have measurements that would help us fixture it correctly for welding? Even better would be dimensions for a fixture we could build.
We can work off of what we have but it would be nice to confirm we are getting things back where they belong.
Not going to tackle this major project just yet but do want to prepare for it.

I don't think any such measurements are available. You will probably have to find a good car and get your measurements off that. Then get good cross measurements on everything and mock it up for fit before you final assemble it.
