[C1] Found another "Bubba" repair

Default Found another "Bubba" repair
Was working behind the center console on the '60 and was wondering " what is this big heavy cable/shaft looped several times around?". Turns out someone had stuck a generator tach drive cable between the distributor and tach. Installed the proper one today (what a PIA).

That's the old 'use whatever is on hand and works' syndrome. I've seen much worse!

I'm confused. The '60 had a tach drive off the generator, not off the distributor.

Not the fuel injected ones.
