That is a great looking old scope. I was looking for an earlier one like yours when I came across my 1015. I couldn't say "No" when the shop owner said it worked fine and I could have it for free just to clear up some space for him.
I retook a picture of the catalog so others can read the information better.
The label you're trying to read Greg reads "Coil Scope". Some of the various Sun 900 coil tests that can be run on the machine are:
Coil Primary Windings
Coil Secondary Windings
Ignition Coil Insulation
Ignition Coil Output during Cranking
Ignition Coil Polarity
Coil and Condenser Condition
Greg I have a Sun 1115 Performance Analyzer much like yours...
I use it on occasion...
...and do find it helpful, but it does take up a bit of floor space. An older unit like Verne's would be much more suitable in appearance to my old shop, but like you, my 1115 was given to me and works like a champ so that's how I came to have it.
I just ordered this Friday. Talked to the guy on the phone first, he seemed to think he had what I needed. Of course, he was trying to sell it! Where are you located in Kentucky?
