Can someone please help me Identify these pistons. I'm thinking of using them in an engine I'm putting together. What is the compression ratio?? I'd like to build it to a feulie 360 HP. Thanks
From info I have available they are trw replacement pistons for a stock 327 with a 9 to 9'5 CR. the .030 indicates they 4.030" in diameter or 30 thousands of an inch over stock 327 bore.
Your CR will depend on your combustion chamber volume,and head gasket thickness.
You can use an online CR calculator of you know your heads. You will get anywhere from 8.5 to 10:1, depending on heads and gaskets.
Personally, i would not use used pistons, new ones are cheap enough.
