I'm in the process of decoding the trim tag, engine casting, etc.
I've run into two codes that I need help with.
The first is on the trim tag.
What is ECL Code HA?
I tried using George's form but it keeps giving me an error.
The second is on the engine casting.
After "3782870" there is "C34" What is C34?
I just purchased the NCRS trim tag decode book. It should arrive today or tomorrow. It has all of the ECL's listed that are known. I can look it up for you if no one answers before then. They are supposed to be listed online somewhere according to one of ht4e NCRS judges but I couldn't find or access them so I ordered the $50 book. I have a rare JC ECL that I want to verify.
Per Al Grenning and Roy Sinor C2 Trim Tag Book, 899 HA is white leather with saddle/tan dash and carpets and console. Start of production until March 24, 1964. (Interesting that TT has a G24 date.....March 24). The 899 HA code is for a coupe that includes the base and excludes A31 and M35. In other words no power windows or auto trans.
