So I just purchased a complete set of front bumpers for my car from a forum member.
The side turn signals are gone from my nose and I have no intention of replacing them. I'd like to see what others have used for front turn signals.
I remember seeing a red C2 posted on here years ago with no side turn signals & front bumpers and I thought it looked great but I don't remember seeing turn signals.
Right now my turn signals are in the spot where the front bumper brackets need to go through the grill. I also have a front spoiler which I don't plan on removing.
Any thoughts, pictures?
May I ask why your putting bumpers on? it looks great just the way it is, as far as re positioning the signal lights I would see if they could be moved outboard of where the are now still withen the grill.

I'm old school, I still like chrome and I think the front just looks too plain without some chrome. I'm hoping I can still keep the spoiler.
I'm going to look and see what's out there for small LED signal lamps that I hope will fit in the grill without cutting anything.
Some sort of a narrow custom LED light was in the back of my mind so I guess I'll add my vote for that. If real narrow it could be mounted on the back, underside edge of the bumper and almost be invisible except when on. Not sure how to mount them without marring the bumper though - maybe 3M emblem tape or industrial self-adhesive Velcro. Or some sort of bracket could be fabricated to bolt to the bumper brace that comes through the grill. Something like this:
LED lamps will cause unusual flasher performance. LED's don't draw as much current as incandescent lamps. The operation of the flasher depends on that current draw.
If you change to LED's you will need to change the flasher unit as well.
