Default Blue flame engine

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between this engine and the ones found in a 53, 54, 55 Corvette? It also came with a new Tri power carb setup and new transmission. Do you know if these engines are worth anything?

Here is what to look for
  • 1953 head is a 3838066
  • 1953 block is a Block: 3701481 or Block: 3835911
  • Block is stamped LAY
  • 1954 head is a 3836241
  • 1954 block is a 3835911
  • Block is stamped F54YG
  • water pump is different
  • Transmission tailshaft housing is different
  • Distributor is a tach drive
  • The road draft tube is different
  • Oil pan is different - 4 step
This motor looks like a passenger car or truck motor
More photos would be helpful
If the date code is right - I might be interested in both
