Default A close call
Somewhere in its past this car had a close brush with disaster. Looks like where the ballast resister was . I fixed it though, ground it out and glassed it over then proceeded to smooth the firewall some.

Boy, those things can get hot. Good to keep some air gap around them as best as possible.

Burned almost the whole way through. Must of been parkin with the radio on and things got hot!
