[C1] Replacement shocks

I just bought (4) AC Delco replacement gas shocks for my '62. The part nos. are 520369 (rear) and 520284 (front). They are available thru Rockauto and Amazon.
I haven't installled them yet so I can't comment on the ride quality.

Replaced the above Mentioned AC Delco "Gas" shocks (4) on my C1 a few years ago......Glad I did......More stable ride and eliminated some suspension noise over rough roadways.......You also get an opportunity to inspect your rear Shock mounts (tower).

I did a quick price check on these particular ACDelco shocks, and RockAuto was the cheapest over any Corvette parts suppliers and Amazon. Not necessarily looking for the cheapest shock but the most reliable and to make the ride better. There are Monroe shocks on the rear of my car, that are at least 25 years old, and god only knows what's on the front. All of the bushings are deteriorating on the front and rear so if I'm removing the shocks for that, it's time for new ones.
