Default Bolt identification

I have had 4,234 projects apart on my desk and put back together and Murphies law says : "Thouest will always have bolts left over" and "Thouest will have no freakin clue where they came from"

Murphy is right I have two of these on my desk, They are 3/8ths bolts 1 inch long, I thought perhaps the alternator bracket bolts but they are too small? Do they even belong to the car ? Any ideas ?

Within the last month or so a few of our fellow Forum members posted information regarding links to several different websites (I believe that they were Vendors) who as part of their helpful website had pages of bolt head designs and what they went to. I'll dig around and if I can find the link I will attach here. It was a very helpful thread for someone in your predicament. C.J.

Right on, I took the old motor mounts off to paint the block and they had 3 different types of bolts holding them on, the only ones to have a stamp on the head were these and so I set them aside and tossed the others
when I picked them up just now, there was only two there and I thought maybe fuel pump bolts, nope, etc etc
But thats exactly where they came from, thanks!
