Hi all. Have been lurking for a while so time to join. I bought a 63 convertible last fall from Seattle and have been soaking up lots of information here. Sounds like a very informed group here and a fun place to hangout.
My 63 had a frame off in 2000 and is still quite fresh with 7000 miles since then. No factory options from what I can tell and car doesn’t have much of anything original to it. Started life as a black on black car. It’s Ferrari Red with black interior.

Has a nice 350 (Lingenfelter), 4 spd Muncie and early 70’s diff with posi. It has lots of aftermarket suspension upgrades (VBP), 4 wheel discs, new top a few years ago, new original interior at some point, refurbished gauges.
It’s a very clean car and fun to cruise. Have spent about 40 hours getting a number of brackets and bolts repainted, touch up here and fixing a leaky speedo cable. Will try post a few pictures.

Looks like you also have power brakes and Borgeson power steering. Very short looking car.

Welcome to the CF, very nice '63. I have a thought to share with you. As I understand things, it's best to mount a coil vertical. Check it out. Dennis

Thanks for the tip on the coil Dennis. I just sent checked the MSD site and see they recommend an 8202 coil be mounted upright. A project for the morning!

cwp63,
Another welcome to the Corvette Forum, good looking 63 you have there. I love that 65-66 big block hood, I have always liked it even better than the 67 Stinger hood.
