I jacked my up '67 to check the fluid levels of my trans and diff. I noticed my diff vent, see the picture, is this normal?
I may put a new one on, is this a simple pull the old vent off and push the new vent in, without ant surprises???
By surprise, I mean like the 'tapered' diff plug. I didn't know it was tapered and wondered long and hard why the flange didn't snug up to the casing.
