It's a cool idea but the 63 needs to look better.
Who ever thought of the idea n spent the money to have them all made is pretty smart (or taking a large risk).
Well - I would have used one to fill the dash hole while my original clock was off to be restored...
Note - these have a 1.5V battery in the back, not super easy to change but can last for a year or more (I have similar quartz house clocks), you can leave it running in an idle car for weeks and your main battery won't get drained... The seller ALSO sells a pigtail to hook the battery up in and easier to change location.
If the maker had just shot a bit of silver paint in the center cone he would have a lot more presentable product...if I got one (and I'm restraining myself) I'd ****** those hands off and shoot some aluminum paint in the center cone (and prob make a big mess)..

Some people don't have an original and even nice cores are going in the $600 and up range....
A member here snatched an original up on the For Sale area on the forum last week for $375....that's a steal for an original, working 63 clock...
I missed buying it by 20 minutes...
