Default Clock

On the back of one of my spare 63 Clocks are numbers 213 and what looks like a __b _3 if you were to stand on your head, and squint, with a 300 watt bulb in your mouth
is that a date? Feb 1 63 and Feb 63....could be a two but don't think so? The other clocks says 453 in the same place so is that Apr 63?
Reason I ask is the second clock does not appear to have a a date anywhere I can see?

I believe your clock dated 213 is the 21st week of 1963 and he other clock with 453 is the 45th week of 1963, This system seems to have been used up until sometime in 1966 when you started to see 4 digit numbers. I think this was Julian system with the first 3 numbers of the day of year and the last number in the 4 digit system in the year

My '63 clock on my October built car is clearly stamped "SEPT. 62"
