Default 63 grill

Has anybody had any experience (good or bad) buying a repop 63-64 radiator grill? I've tried cleaning up my original grill but it's just too pitted and scratched up to put back on a fresh restoration. Thanks,

Bill

I bought and received one last week from Corvette Central. Nice piece. Fedex tried to bend it in half, but stopped just shy of damaging the grill.

I looked at Paragon and Corvette Central, their prices are about the same. If you can wait a while look for an NOS one. I bought one about 5 years ago for $100.00. The price is probably higher today but even if it's the same as Paragon I'd buy the NOS one.

There are a few used NOS ones for sale online but they are asking like $300. Do I go that route vs spending $400 for new? Thats why I was asking about the quality of the repops.

Keep in mind that the NOS grilles that are out there could very well be the last ones that were produced and sold when still available. They had extra holes in the horizontal bars. No doubt a mistake when supplier was producing the bars.
