I honestly don’t care one way or the other. I read threads from both C1 owners and C2 owners and appreciate the knowledge and advice from both groups but would be okay with splitting them up, too.

I'm all for separating them. C1's rule!

Some would go as far to say they are all mislabled generations.
C1 is 53-55
C2 is 56-62 and
C3 is 63-67 and so on.

...Also, oddly enough most past threads asking for a separation of the two "C" generations have been closed and locked by the moderators. Perhaps they are tired of hearing people begging them for this change. I cherish and admire C1's and those that own them and work on them (and wish I owned one) but strongly feel a split of the generations would be for the better.
Actually, it’s shouldn’t be considered odd. We aren’t really tired of hearing people begging for the change, we don’t see the purpose of rehashing this regularly, often for the benefit of the same handful of people who want it changed. Just because you strongly feel this way doesn’t mean we need to discuss it again and again on an ongoing basis. Rather than have the same conversation over and over for the person who hasn’t heard it I now provide a convenient list of the latest 20 or so threads on the topic. And as you can see here, now people are taking to criticizing moderation and the site because they aren’t getting what they want, hence the closing of these threads as they pop up.

If you look, it’s on a 6 week rotation now, I think.

LOL. It’s like broadcast TV - can’t tell the new episodes from reruns of the old ones!
