Default Wing vent rivet binding

Just bought a C2 coupe. Cranked the passenger wing window open the other day and this happened. The riveted hinge was so tight I had to soak it with penetrant and use a small needle nose vise grip to get it revolving. Was going to try a two part cold weld epoxy on reattaching the frame to the hinge that remains on the rivet but the rivet just seems like it’s really binding yet. Tried all sorts of lubricants on it....no good. I don’t want to drill it out as this is a 48k original L71 car. Any suggestions on how to free this axis up? Rather not change the whole wing assembly either.....guessing this glass is somehow dated correct? And yes, I know I can close the window and not use it. LOL.

That happened on my '67 conv during the original owners term. It was spot welded and has held since '70. I know the frame support is different. Dennis

Paragon repaired mine a good 20 years ago. Still fine, but I don't ever open it.
