Default Siblings...

Today was visitation day. The '96 has been displaced (temporarily) from the home garage by the '61. Went by its storage facility and started it up, and checked everything over. It seemed happy to have visitors. For the first time I got some pictures of the cars together.

It's something to see 35 years of evolution.

Back in the mid 80's I spent 4+ years in a home with a 1-car garage... I know we all have crosses to bear. I rented a storage facility for the entire period in order to keep them both garaged out of the weather. I rotated them every 6-months. The one with A/C was the summer car and the one without was the winter car. Seemed pretty simple at the time.

You can probably guess which was the winter car...

BTW, both the C1 and C4 are beautiful cars.

Good luck... GUSTO

For a while I had 3, but sold the 87 and now down to just the 62 and 03...

And yes, I am in a "Maroon" rut...

Very nice Plasticman, love the colors. I have the 61-94 combo. The 61 still has a long long lonnnnnnnnng way to go to be a car again.

Having had a few C4's and C5's, I felt the difference between the C4 and C5, at times, was greater than the difference between the C1 and C4. The C5 was a great car, the interior was acceptable, not marvelous.

I forgot to add the 3 maroon Vettes' far distant cousin that we use to own (51 Chevy on a stretched Blazer frame that I confess I built as an all around utility vehicle):

The fender lips are a nice touch. Love the truck.
