I was digging through some parts that I have had for years and came across an in the package GM cork oil pan gasket set that I can't seem to isolate it's application. I think it's for a small block oil pan, but would like to know for sure. Can someone tell me the correct application for the following please? Thanks

GM 1 #14079400
Gr. 1.429
Gasket Unit- Oil Pan
F86 2535

Hi Jack. How are you? Through the corvette network down this way I found an old school mechanic that is about fifteen minutes from my house. He works on anything 60's and 70's. The '67 is there right now getting the once over and most likely a new clutch kit and a few other things while I am at it. Thinking of going with a breakerless ignition system. What to you think of these? Focused on the Letric Limited product.

The easiest to install, most reliable, and closest to stock I have ever used is the SE Breakerless ignition. Installs in place of the points and cond and rotor and you can't tell the difference unless you remove the dist cap. Everything you see stays stock, including the ballast resistor. I've got one in my 60, still have the points in my 65. Here is a sample picture from ebay.

Thanks Jack. I have been shopping them and find several of the same design, but under different names. II have heard that Lectric Limited is the patent holder and therefore they are the makers of all regardless of who is selling it. Do you know if this is accurate? There is a slight price difference (+/- $20) in most of what I see versus LL.
