Is my memory flawed?
Was the key inserted teeth up on C2's to open the door locks?

I was always diehard GM, usually Chevy, except for a couple Fords way back when. In 1995 I compared the S-10 and the Ranger, and felt the Ranger gave you far more for your money. That Ranger made 270,000 and probably could have gone more.

I then bought a new 2005 F150. In 377 miles, that will hit 200,000. Most importantly, both trucks had far fewer mechanical issues than what I would consider average.

I love my Vettes and as hobby cars I don't mind wrenching and fixing. But for me, the reliability of getting almost a half million miles from those 2 Fords guarantee what my next one will be - if I'm still around when this one ever wears out.
