Default Timing light

I am changing my ignition to solid state. Afterwards I assume a timing is in order. Unfortunately, I don’t gave a timing light. Any suggestions for a light and where to buy. I’d rather not further enrich Amazon

I don’t have a company recommendation but will strongly Recommend you get one with “dial back” capabilities and one that can read engine rpms and timing at the same time. Great for getting timing set up just right including centrifugal and vacuum advance. 😊

INNOVA with digital readout, dial back, an tachometer. The tach function is nice for setting up carb idle mixture, as it’s very accurate and you can read it right there as you do the work.

A bit pricey, the Innova is a good way to go. All the important features for setting up timing. Nice bright and consistent light.

I agree,

INNOVA is a very nice light....The Harness has been troublesome for me.......Great for multiple functions. Dwell feature and Dial back are great.......
