stupid question from first time corvette buyer how do i tell if theturbine style knock offs are factory or repops thanks

post pictures of the front and back. then look for KH embossed in the back of the whreel

The first step might save you a lot of time and effort. Pop off the center cap and if the adaptor has holes drilled for "anti-theft" pins, they are NOT originals. Only reproductions had them. If they are not there, it still doesn't mean they are originals, but it will eliminate a lot of doubt if they are there.

Another way to tell is the depression around the bead is deeper on originals as compared to repros. Also the vanes are thicker on the repros. Keep in mind the current repros are very close to the originals.
