I am here in San Diego if you want fresh eyes on it
or if you don't want it LOL
I have a 63 that I have torn down to the frame so I am familiar with the car

Thanks Glen, I'll take you up on that. I bought the '63 and have it here in Bonita now. Maybe after the weather cools down, I'll send you a message and we could get together. I'd like to see your car too.
One more point. Looking back at my playing with cars since the 70s, I have never regretted buying a single one.
I have regretted ones I did not.
Boy, is that ever true! I "overpaid" for my 327-350/4-spd/PS/PB/green-saddle/factory AC 67 convertible in 2002 by probably $5-10K, but have never seem another one and would have killed myself if I hadn't bought it. If the OPs's Vette is as described, then he should pay the $100K and laugh out loud on the drive home.
This one I just bought doesn't have keys, just holes on the bottom of the frame about the size of a nickel on each side. No rust, as factory punched them. Maybe that's because its an early car? VIN: 30837S106462

I agree with the other guy. It’s impossible for a car with 98,000 miles to be original except battery, tires, and fan clutch. Unless it is falling apart and doesn’t run.
