Can someone please post a picture of the correct placement of the yellow & black engine code sticker on the drivers side valve cover. I have to say that these NCRS judging manuals leave a lot to be desired for the money they ask for them. You think they’d give photo documentation of of this type of stuff. Maybe I’m just not seeing it but it’s not in the logical chapter location.
Here's an original Chevrolet photo of a 67 L71 engine compartment from Nolan Adams C2 guide. This overhead clearly shows the location of both the Tonawanda chrome decal at the front of the RH cover and also you can see the engine code yellow/black decal on the rear, flat end of the RH cover. This is the 1st time in 50 yrs I've ever seen an engine code sticker attached on an angle list this. Personally I would NOT use this as an example of how they came out of the factory.
