It does look nice - pretty similar in color range to mine.. What is the one in the middle of the photo of 3 wheels stacked and in the middle of the 3 wheels side by side? It really appears to be dark wood.

The middle wheel is the original ‘64 plastic rimmed wheel in my car that the teak wheel replaced. The red rim wheel is a ‘63 repro.
The teakwood wheel was ordered through a vendor on eBay. It took some months before the order was completed. The price has gone up since my order was placed.

Not meaning to run afoul of the rules here’s a cut and paste from a paragraph in the eBay ad:
“L****** Wheels is a custom/bespoke crafter of the most accurate replica steering wheels of virtually every important design from the classic period, covering all marques with over 100 designs. Every wheel is handcrafted from the best materials and choice woods. Lempert steering wheels and restorations can be found gracing the cockpits of the world's most beautiful cars at Pebble Beach, Amelia Island, and prestigious shows throughout Europe.”
These discussions seem to come up a lot lately and in my own opinion a beautiful wheel like this on a really nice Sting Ray is worth the $1,000 that one would now pay.
As an aside ... Close to 30 years ago at the very first Monterey Historics and Consorso Italiano that I attended there was a very small tent set up for a vendor selling vintage Ferrari spares. I watched as a guy looked at an original Ferrari wood steering wheel (most likely for a early '60's 250 Series) and not even flinch as he calmly paid the asking price of $5,000. This was in 1992 ! That's still a lot of money but that was even more money thirty years ago !
