Don’t beat me up if this is a stupid question, but, has anyone installed Air Shocks on a C2 (66) to improve the rear stance and to delay the leaf spring replacement? Rear stance is lower, more on driver side than other side than it should be; not seriously lower but it is noticeable. Probably noticed more by me! Car is a driver, not a show car. I realize it will make it ride even stiffer than normal but could be an alternative to replacing the leaf spring until I’m ready to get into all that.
No Where Man has a good idea. Also, changing out the rear spring may be a smaller effort than installing air shocks and the end result will be a better ride. Dennis
Play with outer spring nut to adjust ride height Why bubba your car. The 70’s are over and so should be the air shocks to raise the rear of a car

This in the order listed. Nothing good is going to happen trying to make air shocks solve your issue.
300 bucks buys a new 9 leaf from Eaton. Swapping the rear spring is a fairly simple and quick job. Read previous posts regarding safe removal. I just pulled mine while removing the differential, way less scary than pulling coil springs.
Thanks for everyone's feedback, Not sure what the heck I was thinking ! I'll just do it the right way (Non-Bubba) and I'm sure it will be the best option. I'll research some posts on purchasing the best leaf spring and replacing it. Thanks again for your input.
The best option was said in post six. No research needed. Just buy the spring install all new OEM rubber bushings and correct hardware and move on.
From reading the very first post, OP wants to delay that option. Why suggest what he already states he doesn't want to do?
I have air shocks on a couple of my muscle cars to get the rear end up and I love them, yes ride becomes a bit stiffer but not enough to complain so I say yeah air shocks are a reasonable option, Delcos are like $65 from Rock with dual hoses whice in your case, you want.

I also have a pair of air shocks on my '65. I wanted a period correct look which included a set of TorqThrusts with 11 inches of rubber on the ground and the rear slightly raised. I also installed a new rear spring as one side of my car was almost an inch lower than the other from spring sag. karkrafter is right, the air shocks are very affordable. They will buy you some time and hold the rear end of your car level. One thing I can mention, with the Corvette's rear suspension set up, the amount of travel is much less than you normally get with air shocks on a Camaro or Chevelle. My max lift when fully inflated is only about an inch and a half. Sure, ride is a bit stiffer but hey, it's a Corvette. If I wanted a soft cushy ride, I'd buy a '68 Cadillac.
Cheers, Greg
Air Shocks are just a couple bolts, (and running some plastic lines) then you can adjust the ride height...and later re-install the old shocks if that's what you want....changing leaf springs and other stuff is a little more work. "Just sayin"...as "they" say...hardly a "jerry rig" option.
