Had the car dry blasted today using crushed plate glass. During blasting found the number 446 in what looks like crayon written on the right front
door, right front kick panel area and on top surface of dash area. Any guess as to what it would represent. Its not part of my VIN
I found noted on the NCRS site that Job numbers as used in St. Louis during final assembly and as crayoned onto such places as the lower firewall at engine side of footwell, inside of doors, dash z-brace, and rear deck were, as I understand it, sequenced from 001-500, and then repeated throughout the entire BY.
