Dr Rebuild?
Love this forum, but absolutely hate the search nonfunction. There was a post fairly recently about when/if Dr Rebuild would reopen. Cutting to the chase, need some items. Anyone know if he’s open, if not when?

May be awhile..............last I heard was next year. DR has been (semi) retired for many years, and has slimed down his operation. Between riots and Covid he is waiting things out before opening back up in Bridgeport.

When searching, go to SEARCH, then ADVANCED SEARCH, then type in what you seek, and then have the search check only the C1C2 General Section. That narrows things down significantly.

Thanks Larry, but that’s one of them I did. Problem with this search function is it operates off individual words. Type in Dr Rebuild and you get hundreds of rebuild posts. Should only return Dr Rebuild posts.

WHY Dr. Rebuild?? Plenty of other vendors out there. Example ZIP or Long Island Corvette or even Corvette World!

Pewter is right. If you use the Advanced function with multiple word like the vendor plus a key word or 2 from what you are looking for, the search function works extremely well. Without the need for adding Google. It also allows you to tailor your search to a specific time frame, like the last 6 months, to eliminate most of the extraneous hits you get.
