i have one from classiccarwiring nice but might not be perfectly accurate. i hear the dr.rebuild version is good.
Doc Rebuild is one of the best I've seen. Wiring is color coded to match the original, and pics of the terminals and the connections they make at the ends of the circuits. It's quite good in my opinion.

As nowhere man intimated earlier, someone has put your additional a/c lamp sockets in your clock AND plugged then into the always hot p/w lugs on the fuse panel. The way you have it now will work fine, the clock AND a/c bezel lights will work when you turn on the dash lights. The wiring diagram for a/c cars shows the extra two lamps, but they should have been in the a/c control holes. Doesn't matter, they all come on the same when wired the way you changed yours to.
65, so cars with out a/c would be missing this two wire harness? on this car the center console hvac controls have 3 illumination lights and of course, the additional two clock lights. and just out of curiosity, which two of the a/c control lights have have the two wire sperate harness? also, where did you find that a/c specific wiring diagram. i couldn't find it in my shop manual or service manual. of course that doesn't mean it's not there.
thanks again guys.
also, while i've got your here, is there any reason not to add and additional ground wire from the cluster chassis to the z bar? that little spade lug ground terminal at the top of the frame isn't very confidence inspiring.
The top two, A and B are only on factory a/c cars. It appears to me that if yours are lit, someone connected the two clock lamp wires to them and the extra two wires for the a/c to the clock. As I said earlier, that will work the same as long as connected properly to the fuse box.
There is no reason to or not to add an additional ground as long as the one on the cluster is attached on the other end by the black wire (with ring terminal in the radio connector) to the Z bar
I have several color coded diagrams that are easy to follow. I'll attach the one I have for 66 (which is almost entirely the same as 67) that includes power windows, a/c, and TI. The ignition wiring is entirely different for non TI cars, but I don't have a standard ignition diagram that includes a/c.
65, thanks! i'm just realizing that of course, the non a/c cars would not have those two controls. so the the upper two "torpedo" lights would illuminate those and should have the separate two wire harness. the single lower "torpedo" light would illuminate the heater and defrost controls and utilizes the stock non a/c illumination wiring. rather than re-wire i think i'll take your advice and leave it alone since it works. are those diagrams available for sale?

Yes, they are for sale, click on the picture then right click and then save as and you've got it. Then just send me a check for $100 and we're even.
