Many have switched to LED. I bought new T3's because I wanted originality. With clean connections, they work just fine. Maybe not good enough for 24 hours at Le Mans.

Better lenses, Hella's (etc.), are a fair high end choice.
The LED's keep changing and/or improving, but the budget parts are similar
