Default Timing problem

1966 427/425,,,all stock. I have a miss at idle. Timing light will steady up but I see it jump . I have replaced the wires, plugs, rotor and the cap but the problem remains. Even started it up in a dark garage and I do not see any " fire ' jumping . Any and all comments would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like you don’t experience a miss while driving it - is that correct - only misses at idle? Is it stock TI?

Runs fine , does not jump when I increase the RPM. Thought the problem was in the K66 so I installed a Pertronix unit . Same problem. Does start better with that unit but I am going to reinstall the K66 for originality.
