Default Interior floor plan design

Hi all, hope everyone is doing well and being safe.
Is there a dimension difference in the floor plan layout between C2 vettes.
I see molded carpet sets for the 65s but never for 63/64. Is it just because it wasn't offered then or is it an entire different size. I one replacement my 64 carpet and there were a hundred pieces, lol. A molded set would be so nice.
Thanks.
Frank.

Molded carpet was not used in Corvettes until 1965, The 63/64 carpet sets are multiple pieces to better fit the floor contours without molding.

Default C2 carpet fit

Thanks, so I can get a molded set and install in my 64 with maybe a little cutting.
When I look at the molded set, may have to cut slits for seat rails or mount on surface.

Exactly. If you're not getting it judged...go for the ease of installation.

Just because they are molded they don’t just fit right in there is a lot of trimming and a lot of work to get the wrinkles out of them because the mold is not perfect.

It's daily driver. But if the molded carpet set doesn't fit that well ???? I guess it still be lot easier???

I purchased a '65 carpet set from Corvette America for my '64 non-original convertible and it worked very well.
