56 windshield wiper upgrade conversion - help!
I'm looking to purchase the 53-57 WINDSHIELD WIPER UPGRADE CONVERSION SET from Corvette Central for my 56. Has anyone installed this or any other aftermarket wiper upgrade kit in a 56? This particular setup is shown attaching to the dash support brackets, which my car being a 56 does not have. I could purchase and install these brackets, but not sure if needed and they are costly. The RainGear system is another one, but it seems to have too many parts that could cause a problem. Again, that's why I'm asking.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've installed LOTs of both of them. Both systems come with all the parts that you need. With the Specialty Power System (Corvette Central), you just have to be a little more creative in mounting the transmission box. The Raingear system is very adjustable, to fit your car.
