Default Cold Start

I'm a proud first time Corvette owner I recently bought a 67 L79 which was delivered in mid November. The car came from Miami to my place in Syracuse, NY. I've started the car only 3 times since I got it, the day it arrived, Thanksgiving morning, and most recently this past Saturday when I added fuel stabilizer and ran it for a while (10 min). During each start I noticed thin white smoke coming out of the passenger side rear exhaust and no smoke out the drivers side. The exhaust didn't smell of antifreeze or oil or anything other than typical engine fumes. The engine was completely rebuilt in 2018 and the previous owner and the car inspector claim the car didn't

smoke when starting or running. My question is is this normal? If it is, shouldn't the smoke come out both exhaust pipes? I'd like to add that the temp was below 40 degrees each time I started the car. Thanks for your input.

If your PS exhaust manifold has an operating heat riser the exhaust emitted will be different until the car is warmed up and the flapper opens.

Congrats on the new acquisition. I would drive the car rather than having it idle in the driveway. Most likely you are seeing water vapor instead of smoke. Once the exhaust especially fully heats up, the vapor will disappear. Jerry

yes drive it for 15-20 miles If you can't don't start it at all. (unless you need to move it)

The greatest amount of wear to an engine happens when it's started cold. If you can't get the engine thoroughly hot (oil, too), you do more harm than good by just starting it and letting it run.

Either drive it or just let it be.
