Not recommended! Didn't do anything different than Simple Green or Totally Awesome but cost a lot more.
I fell for the advertisement and reviews:Rubber & Whitewall Cleaner from Leno’s Garage is specifically formulated to help clean oxidized & discolored whitewall, white letter and standard black wall tires.
Quickly & easy eliminate browning & discoloration
Whiten even the dullest whites
Effortlessly break down previous dressing applications
I haven't had a car with whitewalls or white letters in so long I can't remember. I do remember this though back in the 60s and 70s my grandfather cleaned his whitewalls with "Brillo".

Hey! There's nothing wrong w/"Brillo". Just don't over do it.
Sometimes there's nothing you can do... it's the poor quality of the whitewall/tire that allows chemicals to leach out and brown it.
I tried sandpaper, LA totally awesome, even lacquer thinner (which works quickest)...the WW will end up looking good, for a while, then they eventually brown again.
My ultimate solution will be to go with the Diamondback Auburn tires on my car for next spring... they actually put the whitewall on themselves and I have not heard one compliant about browning.

I’ve had tires where it took a small block of wood wrapped in emery cloth to make them white again, no less aggressive methods worked at all (the various liquid cleaners, SOS pads, comet cleanser, etc.)

I followed Frankies advice and replaced my brand new Tiger Paws (brownwalls) with Hankook whitewalls and 6 months later they are still white. I haven't used anything but the soapy water I use to wash the car and a sponge. Try them, you'll like them. Lot less expensive than diamondbacks too.

I always assume a product endorsed by a celebrity is viewed by its manufacturer as incapable of succeeding in the absence of such celebrity, because it really isn't any better, and in many cases any different than the leading brands. They always put their names on soaps and goo. Let's see them endorse brake fluid.
Tom, can you tell us more? Do you have experience?
I do not but I copied the page from Werner Meier, owner of Master Works in Madison heights Michigan. He is a life long Corvette restorer, former NCRS chapter president, and would never post anything that didn't work.
Surprised no one has mention 409. It worked better than anything I can remember back when I had whitewalls/lettering to clean. Like most of these - keep it off the paint or rinse immediately.

I just put stock wheels and a pretty old set of whitewalls [15 years?] on my 66 w/ stock wheels with wheelcovers.
I have tried most every cleaner with not good enough results, I'm going to try sanding them tomorrow, if that doesn't work I'm going to order a bucket of this stuff and I'll report what my findings are.

I use Superclean Degreaser on my 7 year old "Tiger Paws" and still pristine white..............sounds like mine are the only set to not turn brown! begee22
Best to just avoid Uniroyal Tiger Paws. They changed their manufacturing formula around 3-4 years ago. It's rare you will hear of any recent Uniroyal buyers without this defect. Nothing will work to keep them white for more than a week or so.
There is one solution if you are stuck with them and that is to hit them with some black tire paint from a rattle can and then flip to inside. Black sidewall shows better than brown,
