Someone on BF thought maybe it was a corvette body mounted on a Toyota truck frame.

Now that he mentioned it, I don't see a third arm or radiator support mount in this pic:

$16,201, reserve not met. 1 day 10 hours to go. In case someone is trying to make up his mind, there's still time!

I still don't want it. Not even if you paid me to haul it off.

All C1s from '58 thru '62 had those openings in the radiator support, even if carbureted. The passenger side opening is for the heater fresh air hose. The driver side opening was covered/blocked with a plate on all except solid lifter FI cars. Those cars got a fresh air hose connecting the opening to the air cleaner.

Wow. That's one of the craziest things I've seen. That poor '60. I'm in the wouldn't take it for free crowd! Yikes!

In a sick kind of way it seems to fit in with the moss covered rotted to pieces C1 on the trailer at Carlisle a couple of years back that went for Ithink 15K.

How many points do you figure you would lose for the Toyota motor?
All original except Toyota motor.

Very solid- does need frame repair.

Ran when parked in the early ‘80s.

Shut up and take my money!!

So did they buy it because of the Corvette body, regardless of the Toyota motor, or because of the Toyota motor and they don't care it was in a Corvette body?
