Default Split window floor retainers

Several of my retainers are missing. In the back corner floor board just behind the seat Can anyone help with a proper picture of restoration or tell me what goes there? Thanks

Are you speaking of seat belt anchor or seat mount reinforcement plates?

Can only be the seat belt hardware or the bolt that holds the vinyl interior quarter panel at the bottom..

Check the threads on your front seat hold down bolts. Some of mine had stripped threads. Easy fix, install longer 5/16 grade 8 bolt, washer and locking nuts on bottom side. Dangerous to have stripped out bolts holding the seat down.

Look in your AIM. I believe those are aluminum rivets.

Yeah - I think you are pointing to large head aluminum assembly rivets. They are available from most of the Corvette parts houses. I’m not sure who has the best ones anymore. Years ago some were being sold that were too hard a grade of aluminum and were hard to set right. You might want to ask for a current recommendation. They have to be bucked up and set by hand although some have used a pneumatic hammer for the job.

I think if you look in the Assembly Instruction manual it will show you the configuration, with part numbers for the rivet and what component it holds. It also may be just sloppy work by the line workers.

Don't think you are missing several, there is one where you have one, and another where you are missing one, other than that, thats all that is back there. The one on the drivers side is the one that tends to disappear because it holds the rear harness and the radio antennae lead so must be bent tightly to keep the leads from bulging.
The one on the passenger side has nothing in it, its why its still there.
