Braided plug wire condition
What would be a safe cleaner to use on braided plug wires. I have one wire that’s got typical engine bay dust & discoloring and the rest are like brand new. Doesn’t matter to me if the cleaner removes any of the lettering on the plug wire itself, just as long as I can get the braiding sparkling fresh.

I would use a soft bristle brush and Dawn dish detergent. Dawn will clean darned near anything. Simple Green might work also, but Dawn is my first choice.
