Default No brake lights

Well we finally got the new booster installed and when you depress the brake pedal it releases the brake light switch. Here's the
problem. The brake lights don't come on when depressing the pedal and the red brake light on the dash panel flashes on and off
constantly. Now I haven't bled the brakes and haven't put in the master cylinder because wanted to make sure every thing under
the dash was ok. Since putting in this new booster my radio quit working. It lights up but won't play. It is an aftermarket radio.

All help is greatly appreciated.

If its a 63 you may have the wire to your parking brake criss crossed with your regular brakes.

You don't mention the year, and it isn't in your profile. Let's assume for a moment that due to your forum name it's a 66. If so, there is no connection between the brake light switch and the "brake" light on the dash. The only thing that will make that light blink is grounding the tan wire going to the switch at the rear of the park brake. AND the key must be on for it to flash.
For your brake lights not working, it sounds like you may have pulled the white wire that goes from the brake light switch up to the turn signal switch out of the connector on the steering column. You also have a brake light fuse in the fuse panel and your brake switch could be disconnected or defective. If you have or know someone who can use a volt meter on the switch and fuse box, you should find that very quickly.
