Default C-2 Bra

Does anyone know where I can get a Bra for my 65 Coupe?
Thanks.

No but why on earth would you want one? The look ugly on a car that has some of the best looking lines of any automobile made to date. Not to mention that often times they will mark the paint.

There are a few reasons, that I think I will keep to myself. Thanks for your comments even if they were of no help!

I would invest in a clear film bra.

It's a clear film like window tinting that's applied with a soapy solution. It is not a put on take off product, the warranty is usually 10 years.

You are not going to find a national company that applies the film. There are national companies who make the file like 3m, xpel, etc. More than likely check with your local window tinting / wrap companies to see who does that type of work. Do your research because there are plenty of low skilled shops out there. Look for high quality detailer in your area.

There are Ferrari owners who film the whole car or you can just do high traffic areas, like the nose. I just did the nose and stopped at the hood seam. If done properly most observers will not even notice it's there .

the answer is obvious. The nose is saggy and needs some support.

As stated above, don’t know why you’d want one as they can damage paint and look like 💩, but you can buy one at Ecklers

On my 2017 C7 I had installed xpel on the front half of the car, the A pillars and both side view mirrors. It is not fool proof but helps with minor rocks and typical road rash. Very difficult to see, so there is no discouraging "look" ,

65hihp:No need to apologize. I understand sarcastic people like you. Always an opinion but very little to offer. I really don’t care how long you have been here or how many posts you have, you have added absolutely nothing to this thread. BTW, I have been working on Vettes both building & racing since 1963 & have had award winning & driver Vettes.

Well, these C2s are a minimum of 55 years old, so there's that

Thanks to all who offered info, but I think I am done with this thread. It always amazes me how people who have nothing to offer respond to threads just so they are heard.

An FYI, xpel isn't cheap but it provides year round protection for a number years and doesn't give you cause for concern on what is happening to your paint versus a bra.

Perhaps not helpful to the OP, but it's funny.

In the future, when you ask a question and get unhelpful or rude answers, particularly repeats of previously unhelpful comments, click on the little triangle found under the bottom left of the post… this is the “Report Post” button. The post will be addressed.
