I saw a 2818-1 with a list of C276.
I know A and B are November December but what is C?

It is probably a zero not a C that is the Julian calendar date which would be 027 day of 1976,86, or 96.

In Julian dating, the first three digits represent the days of the year, and the fourth digit is the year. Julian dating began around 1972-73. Assuming a "0" as the first digit (likely), that would make the date January 27, 1976.

no it can’t be as up until 69 or so Holley only used a three digit date formate. After that it went to four

Ok so the jury is still out on this one?
I believe the zero digit is correct I did not think of that when posting. So it would be a post 1972-73 built carb if I understand all the responses correctly?

Saying that, the year could be 1976 or 1986...............but most likely 1976.
My own 1967 car has a similar Holley #3810 service dated carb from 1977. It reads #2587 (day 258 in year 1977).
