Apparently all the previous owners of my 66 390 are alive and well but honestly I have no desire to contact them.
Might get some bad news LOL. However all the data stamps have been confirmed as well as the owner warranty protection plan.
booklet.

Mark,

the trim tag date is not the actual final assemble date of the car, it’s close and usually within 2 weeks. My trim tag states G11 (Feb. 11) and my actually build date per the Vin # is Feb. 22, 1966 per NCRS. The trim tag is a good start but requesting build date through NCRS using Vin# is the real deal.

Your car likely has an AOSmith built body. From body build to car build is usually 1-3 weeks (or so) with an average about 10-12 days. My own AOS car this number is 12 days.

For a St Louis built body, the time from body to car build is between 0-3 days. Zero when body is built on day shift and car is built on evening shift. However this is rare. The three day period is for weekends and holidays, or if car has a minor issue to correct. Typical is 1-2 day between body and car build.

Larry,

You are correct my car is a AOSmith body per the trim tag.
