Voltage Ragulator
I'm having a charging problem on my '61. I have 11.6 VDC on the battery without it running. I get the same 11.6 VDC on the battery with it running and accelerating it seems to have no affect. How can I verify that I have a problem with the regulator? Thanks

Simple test: With the engine running at a high idle, ground the "F" terminal on the generator. If the Voltage rises dramatically to 15 - 17 Volts, your generator is good but the Voltage regulator is bad. On the other hand if the Voltage doesn't change, the generator is bad.
